Diagnosis

Hormone profile, semen analysis, HSG to confirm patent tubes, pelvic ultrasound. Female should have at least one open tube.

Treatment

Female undergoes mild ovarian stimulation. Around ovulation, prepared sperm is injected into the uterus through a thin catheter. 5-minute outpatient procedure, no anesthesia. Success rate 10–20% per cycle.
